How CalcRabbit works

Every calculator here is built the same way. The page ships with the answer already worked out for a typical case, then recalculates as you type. Money is never a floating-point number, so the cents come out the way a platform bills them. Fee schedules and tax tables carry an effective date and a link to the source, and the same numbers are run through two independent implementations before anything is published.

Underneath each calculator you'll find how to use it, a worked example with real numbers, the formula, the sources, and the questions people actually ask. More about the site, or tell us if a rate has changed.
